The Cleveland Photographic Society is having a field trip to Headlands Dunes Nature Preserve on 8/22/09 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm for CPS members.
The photos in the slide show above are from a trip I made there on July 4th and were taken at sunrise. These photos will give you an idea of the things you'll see at Headlands Dunes. For this shoot we are going to try and capture a Sunset. The sun will set at around 8:16pm on August 22nd and hopefully we'll get a good one. Until the sunset there are lots of other things to photograph at Headlands Dunes, when I was there on the 4th I saw Herons, gulls, deer and much more. Below are other things you can see at Headlands Dunes
Special Features
- Natural beach on Lake Erie
- Unusual Atlantic coastal plain plants
- Excellent site for migrating birds and monarch butterflies
